“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.”
“What is honor compared to a woman's love? What is duty against the feel of a newborn son in your arms ... or the memory of a brother's smile? Wind and words. Wind and words. We are only human, and the gods have fashioned us for love. That is our great glory, and our great tragedy.”

Game of Thrones S04E08- The Mountain and the Viper

Game of Thrones S04E08 The Mountain and the Viper

“Mance and his army must be close. If they hit Mole’s Town, we’re next.”

From the official HBO synopsis: “Mole’s Town receives some unexpected visitors. Littlefinger’s motives are questioned. Ramsay attempts to prove himself to his father. Tyrion’s fate is decided.”

“The Mountain and the Viper” is written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and directed by Alex Graves. This is the third of four episodes Graves is helming this season. Photos from this week’s episode have been released, with new images of Ellaria, Sansa, Arya and more. The highlight of the new episode is expected to be the much-touted trial-by-combat, which Pedro Pascal assures will not disappoint fans. We can look forward to some intense wildling action, judging by the preview, which makes this week’s Player of Thrones all the more timely.

HBO has also released their “Previously On Game of Thrones” recap for “The Mountain and the Viper,” hinting at which past plot points may be significant in the new episode:
