First of all, I have to end out what is a pretty sad reminder to all “Game of Thrones”
fans: There is no new episode airing on Sunday night. Trust me that I am equally sad when it comes to this news.
I want to see where the
story goes next!
Well, the one thing that I can say to all the non-book readers out
there right now is pretty simple: If you thought that the shockers for
this season are over, be prepared to think again. As a matter of fact,
Sophie Turner doesn’t even think that the recent death of Lysa Arryn is
going to rank anywhere near the top. For more on that, just look at what
she had to say in a new interview with Zap2It:
“We all know the character that
initiates the Moon Door incident is pretty shady anyway. I think there
definitely will be one or two that surpasses [the Moon Door], because
it’s deaths that happen because of someone that you wouldn’t suspect.”
Think of the last bit of that quote as a tiny teaser of what is to
come for the final three episodes, which have quite the challenge. You
have to find a way to make the Oberyn vs. The Mountain duel as interesting as possible,
and then you also have to wonder if Jon Snow can survive the assault
from the Wildings, and if we are going to see Arya and the Hound make it
up to the Eyrie. If they do, they are going to have quite a few
unexpected surprises waiting there. Remember, Brienne and Pod are also
now seemingly heading in that direction.
